Alight is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences for our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Experience Architect with a track record of designing, implementing, and managing top-tier digital experiences for SaaS platforms. As the driving force behind our digital experience, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Business Stakeholders, UX experts, Product Management, and Development teams to elevate Alight's web and mobile interfaces. Your role is pivotal in crafting and deploying user-friendly interfaces, mobile applications, and APIs that align with our business objectives while prioritizing accessibility and security. What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and maintain a strategic vision and roadmap for enhancing the digital experience across the Alight platform ecosystem.
  • Technology Strategy: Collaborate with business leaders and engineering teams to shape the technology strategy, architecture, and technology selection for our web and mobile digital experiences.
  • Coding Standards: Define coding standards and patterns specific to the digital experience to guide the implementation of new features and capabilities.
  • Architectural Planning: Work with domain subject matter experts to conceptualize, plan, design, and implement web and mobile architecture for all user personas within the Alight ecosystem.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise to product management, UX, and engineering teams when integrating mobile technologies into end-to-end solutions.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documents using multiple architectural models or views to illustrate how the organization's current and future needs will be met.
  • Market Research: Research and share end user technology trends and market indicators insights with the team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other enterprise architecture staff, experts, and decision-makers to accurately define end-user compute and mobility requirements.

What You'll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on web and mobile UI/UX development.
  • Skills: Deep expertise in web technologies (Angular SPA, HTML5, CSS or SASS, and cross-browser compatibility) as well as native and cross-platform mobile technologies such as Xamarin.
  • UI/UX: Expertise in UI/UX design patterns and best practices.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing large UI products from delivery, code-quality, and maintenance perspectives for consumer-grade interfaces.
  • DevOps: Hands-on experience with core DevOps tools and best practices at a platform level. Experience in managing deployments and build frameworks.
  • Testing: Proficiency with automated test frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, etc.
  • Accessibility: Expertise in accessibility and WCAG standards.
  • Change Management: Strong desire and ability to drive change, with the flexibility to adapt quickly. Recognized as a thought leader in your field.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring abilities.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $201,900.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $290,700.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
